Former Red Raider and Former Longhorn to suit up for Texas vs. Nation

So we are almost to the 2nd annual Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game in El Paso. It features a roster made up of players who spent their high school or college careers inside the Lone Star State vs. those not so fortunate.

Former Red Raider WR Danny Amendola
and former Longhorn LB Robert "15-yards" Killebrew will both see action for the Texans, a team that is to be coached by former Alabama legend Gene Stallings.

Last year's game was won by the Nation Team, holding Texas at the 44 yard line as time expired, 24-20. The roster included two former Raiders in Keyunta Dawson (now with Indianapolis) and Robert Johnson (Amarillo Dusters, af2).

Amendola finished his senior season at Texas Tech with 112 catches for 1245 yards and 5 TDs in 13 games. Killebrew amassed 57 tackles, including 1 sack, for the Longhorns in '07.

The game is at 4 PM CST on Saturday. CSTV will televise.
